Guttering

Guttering is a commonly overlooked feature on homes, with home-owners generally not realising their importance until something like a leak occurs and it is too late.  Guttering is used to draw water away from your house in order to avoid leakages and sink holes.

There are various types of guttering, but the most common amongst home-owners is the K-Style and Half-round gutters, both available in many materials to help suit your homes aesthetics including vinyl, copper penny aluminium, pre-weather zinc and many more. The more expensive materials such as aluminium will last longer than the cheaper alternatives such as vinyl.

You will also have to decide if you want a sectional or a seamless gutter.  Sectional gutters, although cheaper are prone to leaking as they are snapped together whereas the more expensive seamless gutter is much more secure making them the more popular choice.
